BBNaija Bells Breaks Silence On Father’s Kidnapping, Says His Whereabouts Remain Unknown

Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Bells has opened up about the painful experience of having her military father kidnapped years ago, revealing that her family still has no confirmed information about his current whereabouts.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Bells shared the emotional experience during an interview with Herodanielstv, explaining that the incident occurred before she turned 20 while she was sitting for her second-semester examinations.

She recalled receiving a phone call about her father’s kidnapping and said the family initially struggled to determine what had happened because his military duties sometimes kept him away from home for extended periods.

Bells said her father later managed to contact the family and revealed that he had attempted to escape from his abductors but was recaptured and taken to one of their camps. According to her account, he also informed them that the captors were moving towards Chad and that communication might become difficult.

She said the kidnappers initially demanded money but later abandoned the request, informing the family that they intended to keep her father in their camp.

Bells explained that the last communication from her father left her with the feeling that it could have been a farewell call. However, she said military authorities assured the family that they would have been informed if anything had happened to him.

Despite the uncertainty, Bells said her family continues to hold on to hope that her father is still alive.
