They Get Better And Better — Tuchel Praises Kane, Bellingham Partnership

England manager Thomas Tuchel has praised the growing partnership between Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham following the Three Lions’ emphatic 7-0 victory over Croatia in the UEFA Nations League.
Kane and Bellingham have continued to develop a strong understanding in attack, recording a combined 10 goal involvements across England’s opening three Nations League matches.
Tuchel has made tactical adjustments to Bellingham’s role since the World Cup, allowing the Real Madrid midfielder to operate in a more advanced position alongside captain Kane. The change has provided England with an additional attacking threat and created greater problems for opposition defences.
The German tactician believes the relationship between the two players is improving as they become increasingly familiar with each other’s movements and positioning on the pitch.
“They get better and better,” Tuchel said. “They love playing with each other. They understand each other better.”
According to Bush Radio Academy, Tuchel also explained that his tactical changes have given Bellingham greater freedom to influence games in the final third.
“We adjusted our positioning a little bit after the World Cup. Jude almost plays a little bit more offensively for us. It’s a front four first of all, and the movements and counter-movements are on the highest level,” he said.
While Kane remains England’s primary attacking outlet, Bellingham has taken on increased responsibility in advanced areas of the pitch. Their developing partnership is providing Tuchel with another attacking option as England build towards future international competitions.
The manager will hope the combination continues to flourish as the Three Lions seek to strengthen their squad and tactical identity ahead of major tournaments.
