I Won’t Take Your Accolades Alone – Kate Henshaw Reveals Others Who Helped At Olu Jacobs’ Burial
Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has responded to praise from a social media user who commended her efforts during the burial ceremony of veteran actor Olu Jacobs.
The social media user, identified as Ogayenne, praised Henshaw for her conduct and contributions during the funeral, saying her actions had further increased his respect for her.
In response, Henshaw expressed gratitude for the recognition but declined to take sole credit for the efforts made during the burial.
According to the actress, several other people also played significant roles in ensuring that the ceremony was properly handled. She mentioned Chisom, Deola, Kemi Lala, Ireti, Yolanda and Olamide among those who contributed.
Henshaw also acknowledged event planner Ebun and her associates, Adebisi, Rosemary and Shalom, noting that everyone involved played their respective roles.
The actress explained that she has her own way of supporting and showing up for people she loves and cares about, stressing that she was simply doing what she believed was right.
According to Bush Radio Academy, Henshaw’s response has drawn attention to the collective efforts behind the burial ceremony, with the actress choosing to highlight the contributions of others rather than accepting all the praise herself.
Her remarks have also been widely discussed online, particularly her statement that she shows up for people she loves in her own way.
