Wedding Bells For Zlatan Ibile And Davita As Singer Unveils Big Day

Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile and his longtime partner, Davita Lamai, are reportedly set to tie the knot on October 24, 2026, marking a significant milestone in their relationship.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the singer announced the date alongside an emotional message attributed to the couple’s son, who reflected on the love, care and support he has experienced from his parents.

In the message, the young boy described his parents as an example of love and family unity, expressing appreciation for the happiness and affection they have given him.

“When I think about love, I think about my mummy and daddy. They have shown me that family means laughing together, supporting each other, and always feeling loved,” the message read.

The announcement comes months after Zlatan and Davita reportedly shared their intention to celebrate their union publicly. The couple were said to have discussed their wedding plans in July while travelling to attend the wedding of businessman Soso Soberekon.

Davita had reportedly informed friends and colleagues about the anticipated celebration, although the exact date was not disclosed at the time.

There have also been reports suggesting that the couple previously held a private civil wedding. However, the planned October ceremony is expected to provide an opportunity for family members, friends and other loved ones to celebrate with them.

Zlatan, whose real name is Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, has largely kept aspects of his private and family life away from the spotlight despite his success in the Nigerian music industry.

The message attributed to their son has drawn attention to the family’s close bond, with the young boy also acknowledging his younger brother while expressing gratitude for the family they share.

The wedding is scheduled for October 24, 2026, although further details about the venue and arrangements have not been disclosed.
