Man Sparks Outrage As He Lists Nine Strict Conditions For His Future Wife

Published

A man has sparked debate on social media after outlining nine non-negotiable conditions he expects a prospective wife to meet before he agrees to marry her, including preparing his meals, following his instructions and prioritising household responsibilities over her career.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the man’s list reflects his preference for a marriage structured around traditional gender roles, financial accountability and specific expectations regarding his future wife’s appearance, lifestyle and sexual relationship with him.

Among his most controversial demands, he insisted that he should have control over his wife’s movements, clothing and social interactions.

He also stated that he would not marry a woman he considered overweight, adding that he could send his wife away if she gained weight after their wedding.

On family responsibilities, the man described the arrangement he expected between himself and his prospective wife, saying, “I provide, you nurture. I support you and you support me.”

He further ruled out marrying a single mother, explaining that he might struggle to accept another man’s child as his own. He also expressed concern about possible interference from the child’s biological father.

The man stated that his future wife should not hold a job that requires her to remain outside the home beyond 7 p.m. He added that she would be expected to leave such employment if her working hours conflicted with his expectations.

His conditions also extended to financial matters, with the man insisting that he should have oversight of money given to his wife and approve major expenditures.

Regarding intimacy, he said he wanted a partner who enjoyed sex, took the initiative and was willing to explore different experiences within their relationship.

The man maintained that he was not forcing anyone to accept his requirements, describing them as personal non-negotiables that would determine whether he considered a woman suitable for marriage.

His list has drawn attention to differing expectations about marriage, gender roles and household responsibilities, as well as questions about personal autonomy and compatibility between prospective partners.

The discussion also highlights the importance of communicating expectations before marriage, particularly when partners have differing views about careers, finances, family life and decision-making.
