2027 Election: APC Reshuffles Tinubu’s Campaign Team, Appoints Ayo Olawande, Mary Idele
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has announced a leadership reshuffle and fresh appointments as preparations intensify for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign ahead of the 2027 general election.
According to Bush Radio Academy, the council has appointed Ayo Olawande as Director of Youth Mobilisation, with Dayo Israel named as his deputy.
In the Women Mobilisation Directorate, Dr Mary Aille Idele has been appointed director, while Dr Betta Edu will serve as deputy director and Hon. Imaan Suleman as secretary.
The council also appointed Dr Farouk Adamu Aliyu as Director of the Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management, with Adejare Bello named Co-Director.
The appointments were announced in a statement issued on Tuesday by the council’s secretary, Hope Uzodimma, who explained that the changes were aimed at strengthening the campaign’s organisational structure, improving coordination and enhancing operational efficiency ahead of the presidential election.
The council said the adjustments reflected its commitment to building an inclusive, coordinated and results-oriented campaign structure capable of mobilising Nigerians, particularly young people and women, in support of Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Uzodimma urged the newly appointed officials to bring their experience, dedication and organisational skills to their respective positions as the campaign prepares for the 2027 election.
He also called on the appointees to work closely with other directorates and relevant campaign structures to ensure the effective implementation of mobilisation programmes and campaign strategies.
The latest reshuffle forms part of the APC campaign council’s efforts to strengthen its leadership and coordinate activities as the party prepares to seek another presidential term for Tinubu in 2027.
