VeryDarkMan Accuses Pastor Ibiyeomie Of Using Fear To Control Church Members

Published

Social media critic Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has openly challenged the Senior Pastor of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, to place a curse on him following the cleric’s controversial remarks about the consequences of his curses.

VeryDarkMan made the challenge while reacting to Ibiyeomie’s claim that anyone he curses becomes useless for the rest of their life. The social media personality accused the pastor of using fear and religious influence to manipulate members of his congregation.

According to Bush Radio Academy, VeryDarkMan questioned the pastor’s assertion and demanded that he publicly identify individuals he had allegedly cursed, including social media personalities who might have criticised him.

The activist dismissed the cleric’s claim and dared him to mention the names of those supposedly affected by his curses, insisting that such statements should not be used to intimidate people.

He also criticised religious leaders who, according to him, create the impression that they possess supernatural powers capable of determining the fate of others. He argued that such claims could make church members, particularly vulnerable individuals, live in fear of their spiritual leaders.

VeryDarkMan further questioned the practice of threatening worshippers with hardship or misfortune when they fail to pay tithes and offerings, arguing that religious teachings should encourage love and blessings rather than curses.

Referring to biblical teachings, he maintained that Christians were instructed to bless those who persecute them instead of pronouncing curses on them. He added that pastors should not present themselves as having the authority that belongs to God.

The social media critic also challenged Ibiyeomie over an alleged claim that he once gave God $1 million. VeryDarkMan questioned the circumstances surrounding the reported donation, asking how the pastor could have made such a contribution when, according to his account, he did not own a house at the time.

He concluded his reaction by describing the cleric as dishonest and repeating his challenge for Ibiyeomie to place a curse on him.

As of the time of the report, there was no response from Pastor Ibiyeomie addressing VeryDarkMan’s latest remarks.
