Delta Is My Only Home – Oborevwori Declares, Seeks Another Term
Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has called on residents to support his administration’s development agenda, insisting that the state needs a street-smart and credible leader capable of delivering further progress.
Oborevwori made the remarks during a reception held in his honour in Isoko, where he highlighted his connection to the state and his commitment to its development.
The governor maintained that Delta State was his only home, stressing that his decision to live and work there gave him a strong reason to prioritise its growth and development.
He argued that his familiarity with the people and their challenges placed him in a position to understand their needs, adding that residents should expect more from his administration.
Oborevwori also acknowledged the progress recorded during the first three years of his administration, but noted that there was still room for improvement. He assured residents that his government would continue to build on its achievements with their support and encouragement.
Speaking at the event, the governor said his administration had more work to do and urged the people to communicate their expectations, promising to remain committed to delivering further development.
He further appealed to Deltans to translate their support into votes for him, President Bola Tinubu and all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the 2027 general elections.
Oborevwori urged residents to continue trusting and praying for the leadership, expressing confidence that sustained public support would enable the administration to consolidate its achievements and pursue additional development projects.
