Recall that on Monday, Kukah criticized the administration of President Buhari, stating that Nigeria experienced its most corrupt period during his tenure. Kukah said that corruption was not initiated by Buhari but had intensified under his watch as the then-President.
Kukah made these remarks while delivering a lecture in Ado Ekiti to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the call to bar of Aare Afe Babalola, the founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti.
In response to Kukah’s comments, Adesina took to Twitter and wrote, “Who listens to that Bishop again? He’s still bitter that he didn’t receive any special treatment from Buhari, unlike in the past. As it pains them, it brings us joy.”
