Labour Party (LP) National Chairman, Julius Abure, has revealed that they have received information suggesting that President Bola Tinubu’s All Progressives Congress (APC) government is also preparing for a rerun. Speaking during a virtual meeting with the Nigerian-American Coalition for Justice and Democracy led by Prof. Eddie Oparaoji, Abure urged party members to prepare themselves to “further humiliate” the APC and its government in future elections.

Abure emphasized the need for engagement and support from the coalition in the event of a rerun election. While the LP firmly believes they won the previous election and are advocating for the outright declaration of Peter Obi as the President of Nigeria, they recognize the possibility of a rerun and are prepared to participate accordingly.
