“Biafra Freedom Agitator Renews Two-Week Sit-at-Home Order in South East, Citing Release of IPOB Leader and Self-Referendum Preparation”

Simon, a self-acclaimed Biafra Prime Minister and freedom agitator, has once again issued a two-week sit-at-home order in the South East region of Nigeria. He provided five reasons why South Easterners should obey and adhere to this recent order.

He emphasized the immediate and unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB (Indigenous People of Biafra), as a crucial demand. According to him, the sit-at-home order aims to facilitate the pursuit of Biafra’s freedom.

Simon’s words were as follows: “In response to the Biafra people’s demand for increased civil disobedience, the Biafra Republic Government In-Exile (BRGIE) and Biafra De Facto Government In Homeland wish to notify Biafrans about a sit-at-home civil disobedience starting from July 31, 2023, to August 14, 2023.

“The immediate and unconditional release of IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who remains illegally detained at the DSS dungeon, is of utmost importance.”

He further stated, “This action is aimed at preparing for Biafra’s self-referendum and to send a clear message to the world that Biafrans are taking control of their own destiny.”

Simon also emphasized the need to invalidate the legitimacy of those who claim to represent Nigeria within Biafran territory. He outlined the specific dates for the sit-at-home order: Monday, July 31, 2023, to Friday, August 4, 2023, with a total lockdown in Biafraland.

He mentioned that on Saturday, August 6, and Sunday, August 7, the two-week sit-at-home will be temporarily suspended, and all Biafran markets will be open.

“From Monday, August 7, to Friday, August 11, there will be a total lockdown in Biafraland. However, on Saturday, August 12, and Sunday, August 13, 2023, there will be another break as all Biafran markets will open.”

Simon urged all market leaders to strictly adhere to this order and treat it with utmost seriousness. He also called on oil companies operating in the Biafran territory to halt oil exploration during these dates to avoid the potential consequences of Biafran people’s anger.
