Vice President Kashim Shettima disclosed this during a press briefing while on a condolence visit to Kano.

He acknowledged the crisis in the northwest, which is exacerbated by poverty and social exclusion, and stated that the President is committed to addressing these issues head-on.

According to Shettima, a military solution alone cannot resolve the crisis in the northwest, as it requires both kinetic and non-kinetic approaches.

He revealed that in the coming weeks, the Tinubu administration will unveil the “Pulaku solution” to address the grievances and social exclusion experienced by the Fulbe community in the region.

This solution aims to tackle the root causes of banditry and insurgency in the nation.

During his visit, the Vice President, accompanied by Governor Abba Yusuf, also extended President Tinubu’s condolences to the Emir of Bichi, HRH Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero, on the loss of the late Imam Galadanci.

Shettima prayed for the eternal rest of the deceased and expressed solidarity with the Galadanci family on behalf of President Tinubu.
