Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has given his approval for the appointment and posting of 14 new Special Advisers and 9 Heads of Agencies and Parastatals within the State’s civil service.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The announcement was made by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, who highlighted that these appointments are intended to support the effective governance of Katsina State.

Governor Radda congratulated the appointees and urged them to demonstrate honesty and fairness in the discharge of their duties, emphasizing the importance of aligning with the state’s strategic agenda to build the envisioned Katsina State.

Among the newly-appointed Special Advisers are individuals who will oversee various portfolios, including Sports & Social Development, Market Development, Community Security Watch, Community Development, Party Liaison, Employment Promotion, and Political Affairs.

Other positions include Drugs & Narcotics, Primary Education, National Assembly Matters, Human Capital Development, Infrastructure Development, Livestock and Grazing, and Youth Development.

Additionally, nine new Heads of Katsina State Government Agencies and Parastatals have been appointed, covering roles such as Chairman of the Board of Internal Revenue, Managing Director of Katsina State Roads Maintenance Agency (KASROMA), General Manager of Rural Electrification Board (REB), General Manager of Katsina State Transport Authority (KTSTA), and Director General of Katsina State Investment Promotion Agency (KIPA).

The list also includes an Executive Secretary for the drugs and Medical Supplies Agency, General Manager of Katsina State Hospital Services Management Board (HSMB), Chief Physician to the Governor of Katsina State, and a pending appointment for a member of the Katsina State Electoral Commission (KATSIEC), awaiting confirmation by the State House of Assembly.
