Atiku Closes Case Against Tinubu At Presidential Election Tribunal

Dada Olusegun, media aide to President Bola, has strongly criticized the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, accusing him of planning to blackmail the judiciary. Responding to Atiku’s claims, Dada Olusegun took to Twitter and accused Atiku and the PDP of not learning from a previous double nomination case when the Supreme Court reprimanded them for using social media trolls to target judges.

He also reminded that after Atiku’s defeat by President Bola Tinubu in the polls, the PDP had claimed massive electoral rigging but failed to prove it at the tribunal.

According to Olusegun, Atiku and his party have resorted to using cheap blackmail and threats to discredit the judiciary and its judges.

He criticized their lack of substantial evidence and rational arguments to back their claims and stated that they only sought to undermine the judiciary’s integrity.

Olusegun further mentioned an incident where they attempted to frame the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kayode Ariwoola, as partisan during a supposed clandestine meeting with the then President-elect in London, but their efforts were futile.

He concluded by asserting that their attempts at discrediting the judiciary would ultimately fail.
