According to The PUNCH, Speaker Tajudeen Abbas will also distribute official cars to members once the standing committees are constituted.

These ad hoc committees were drawn from both the ruling APC and three opposition parties in the House: PDP, LP, and the New Nigeria People’s Party. They were intended to function temporarily until proper committees were established.
The committees appointed during the transition included Internal Security, led by Mohammed Danjuma; Selection, chaired by the Speaker himself; and Media, headed by Buka Ibrahim, among others.
However, the exact distribution of roles among the lawmakers remains a mystery, leaving many in the Green chamber uncertain about their positions and responsibilities.
Khadijat Buka-Abba, the head of the ad hoc committee on Media and Publicity, expressed her reluctance to return as chairperson once the Speaker reveals the standing committees.
As the anticipation grows, members of the House are eagerly waiting to learn their roles in the upcoming standing committees.
