During the groundbreaking ceremony of the FHA Golden Jubilee Estate in Abuja’s Mbora II District, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of FHA, Senator Gbenga Ashafa, emphasized this commitment. Ashafa highlighted that President Bola Tinubu, upon taking office, expressed concern over the direct purchase of houses in cash due to its potential to facilitate fraudulent activities.

The initial phase of 1,200 units will be undertaken through a Public-Private Partnership with Nuga Best Regis International. The estate will be equipped with essential infrastructure that characterizes FHA’s developmental projects.
“We are unwavering in our resolve, within the ambit of the Federal Housing Authority, to advance the government’s housing delivery initiative.
This entails leveraging the construction industry’s potential to generate employment opportunities and stimulate economic diversification,” Ashafa affirmed.
Pastor Hillary Chukwuma, Chairman of NUGA Best International & Regis Integrated Services Limited Partnership (LP), highlighted that the estate occupies approximately 200 hectares of land and features plans for educational institutions, medical facilities, recreational centers, markets, shopping malls, a filling station, and a police station, among other amenities.
Chukwuma remarked, “The shifting landscape of work and our lifestyles necessitates a reevaluation of our residential preferences and the convenience of multiple access points around them. Our residential choices are now expected to seamlessly cater to our multifaceted needs.”
He further acknowledged the evolving nature of housing and how FHA, in collaboration with Nuga Best International and Regis Integrated Services LP, is attuned to this transformation.
