He highlighted that the “Bauchi Project” has played a pivotal role in shaping the Bauchi State Medium Term Development Plan 2021-2025, serving as a comprehensive roadmap to realize the set objectives.
Governor Bala acknowledged significant advancements achieved between 2019 and the present, encompassing the enhancement of essential social services and the enhancement of infrastructure quality and quantity, both of which have significantly impacted the well-being of the populace.
He noted that these accomplishments have been accompanied by a range of substantial reforms spanning various sectors of public service, all designed to support his administration’s objectives for the greater progress of Bauchi State.
Considering the present economic landscape, his re-election for an additional four-year term, a retrospective evaluation of the 2019-2023 performance, and the hurdles that hindered the prior plan’s overall execution, Governor Bala stressed the pressing necessity to address future infrastructure and service requirements.
“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the committee’s chairman and members for their unwavering dedication and meticulous work spanning the last three months, culminating in a comprehensive three-volume report,” he expressed.
Governor Bala underscored that for a robust implementation strategy, his government will establish an implementation committee comprised of key government officials from diverse sectors, alongside non-state experts proficient in education, healthcare, agriculture, natural resources, water resources, commerce, technology, industries, and societal reform.
