The statement came ahead of the church’s monthly Global Crusade set to take place in Osogbo this Thursday. Pastor Kumuyi emphasized that God hasn’t abandoned Nigeria and that citizens would soon witness a transformation through the current leadership.
The clergyman praised the recent selection of cabinet members by the President, noting that they have commendable track records. He urged Nigerians to support and cooperate with the new administration, emphasizing that God would use these leaders to bring about positive change for the nation.
“Let’s move beyond the past and embrace the promise of a new dawn. I am optimistic about what the future holds for Nigeria under this administration. When you examine the credentials of the newly appointed ministers, it’s evident that they have been carefully chosen based on their previous achievements,” Pastor Kumuyi remarked. CONTINUE READING
Encouraging unity and trust in leadership, he added, “God will touch the hearts of our leaders. He will grant them the wisdom and compassion to prioritize the needs of the citizens. We need to believe in the possibility of a transformed Nigeria and refrain from unnecessary criticism.”
Addressing the issue of increasing number of churches juxtaposed with the rise in social vices, Pastor Kumuyi expressed his belief in a forthcoming revival. He stated, “Yes, there are numerous churches, and we might not have witnessed the expected change yet. However, we remain hopeful. The Church will experience a revival, and God will touch every heart, leading to transformation across the nation.”
