In a statement issued on Monday, Rev. Pam Yakubu, the executive secretary of the NCPC, commended President Tinubu for his efforts in alleviating concerns about religious representation in the presidential elections.

Assessing the first 100 days of President Tinubu’s tenure, Rev. Pam, who also serves as the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) North-Central Zone chairman, expressed gratitude for the administration’s support for the NCPC, which serves as Nigeria’s primary facilitator of Christian pilgrimages.

He further highlighted the detrimental impact of disinformation and misinformation in the country’s political landscape, emphasizing the need for politicians and their supporters to rise above propagating dangerous falsehoods that threaten national unity, peace, and progress.

Over the weekend, Rev. Pam had a meeting with President Tinubu at the State House in Abuja, during which he briefed the president on the NCPC’s upcoming activities related to Christian pilgrimages to Israel, Rome, Jordan, and Greece.
