Oyetola, the former governor of the state, conveyed this message during a welcome reception held at the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Office in Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo.

Addressing party members and leadership in the Yoruba language, he expressed gratitude for his appointment as a minister and emphasized the need for faith during trials, believing that Osun would be reclaimed in 2026 by the grace of God.

He commended the steadfastness of APC loyalists and leadership in Osun and acknowledged that some party members were involved in anti-party activities.

He expressed support for holding those individuals accountable and stated that the APC was strong in Osun. Oyetola emphasized that while reconciliation was possible, it required individuals to show remorse, acknowledge their mistakes, and commit to not repeating them.
