Former Governor of Bauchi State and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Professionals Forum, Dr.

During a news conference in Abuja, Yuguda, supported by former Governor of Adamawa State, James Bala Ngilari, emphasized that the tribunal’s affirmation of President Bola Tinubu’s electoral victory on February 25, 2023, attests to the credibility of the presidential election. He stated that the decision puts to rest false narratives about the electoral process.
Yuguda acknowledged that the petitioners have the right to proceed to the Supreme Court but appealed to them to consider the country’s unity and refrain from causing more polarization and unrest through additional legal challenges filled with unsubstantiated claims.
He encouraged Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to accept the verdict of Nigerians and join in supporting President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, which aims to propel the country toward development.
The APC Professionals Forum suggested that politicians who continue to invest in legal battles, despite the court’s unanimous judgment, should consider donating their legal fees to charity or the less privileged in society.
Yuguda also praised President Tinubu’s first 100 days in office and his efforts to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to Nigeria.
He highlighted the forum’s commitment to engaging with key policymakers and implementing people-oriented policies to improve the living standards of Nigerians.
