One of the key subjects under scrutiny is the origin of the $300 million used to finalize the Union Bank acquisition by Titan Bank.

A credible source revealed that Aisha Ahmad was indeed brought in for questioning but has since been released. The source explained, “Her name emerged in the ongoing investigation, and it was considered appropriate to have her provide clarification on certain matters.”

This development follows the recent questioning of Obiora Kingsley, the Deputy Governor of CBN responsible for Economic Policy, by the DSS.
