These nominations are pending confirmation by the Nigerian Senate, as stated in an announcement made by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.
Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, a young medical doctor, has previously held the position of President at the Progressive Young Women Forum (PYWF) and served as the Senior Special Assistant to the Kwara State Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Mr. Ayodele Olawande, an expert in community development and a youth leader within the All Progressives’ Congress (APC), has recently served in the Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Innovation from 2019 to 2023.
President Tinubu has tasked these nominees with maintaining the dynamism, innovative spirit, and unwavering dedication that characterize Nigeria’s youth as they carry out their responsibilities.
