Represented by his Chief of Staff, Caleb Ajagba, Governor Otti emphasized the importance of fostering peaceful coexistence between the Yoruba community and their host communities.
He assured Abians and state residents that his administration would continue to create a conducive environment for all citizens to engage in legitimate activities and business endeavors.
Governor Otti reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to catalyzing the state’s socio-economic development and pledged to uphold transparency, accountability, and good governance as guiding principles.
He extended his gratitude to the Yoruba community for their significant contributions to the state’s economic growth and their support for his administration.
Yusuf Okikade, the President General of the Yoruba United Community in Abia State, also spoke during the visit. He congratulated Governor Otti on his resounding electoral victory and appealed to the state government for the allocation of land for their secretariat, provision of vehicles, and opportunities for appointments.
These measures, he emphasized, would enable the Yoruba community to actively participate in and contribute to the state’s political development. Okikade praised Governor Otti as a transformative leader and commended his notable achievements in various sectors of the state’s economy.
