In the aftermath of the last presidential election, there were those among us who felt a deep sense of loss when their preferred candidate failed to secure victory against Asiwaju Tinubu. This disappointment stemmed from emotional attachment, a yearning for change, alignment with certain policies, a personal connection to the candidate, and social bonds formed during the campaign.

However, it’s crucial to recognize that Asiwaju Tinubu’s leadership and reforms have set the stage for positive changes in our nation. These changes are poised to bring an influx of investments and a wave of massive infrastructure development that will benefit us all.

Tinubu’s visionary reforms in the electricity and petroleum sectors have created an environment that makes it easier for individuals to become stakeholders in these critical industries, as opposed to the practices of the past.

Furthermore, global tech giants like Microsoft and Meta are eyeing Nigeria for significant investment opportunities, with projections of over 1 million new jobs in the digital economy. This presents a tremendous chance for those who may have felt disheartened by the election results to pivot their focus towards the promising economic landscape.

Today, making money in Nigeria has become more accessible than ever. The online economy is booming, offering opportunities for individuals to start online businesses and potentially become successful CEOs within a few years. The diversification of the economy is evident, and it’s essential to position oneself to harness these emerging opportunities.

In the words of an African proverb, “When a strong man loses his way, he is not afraid to ask for directions.” This saying reminds us that even the strongest among us can face setbacks or losses. Seeking guidance and embracing change is a sign of wisdom and resilience. It’s time to let go of past disappointments, focus on the present, and chart a new path towards personal and national growth.
