As the flagbearer of the SDP, he expressed his admiration for President Bola Tinubu, stating that whenever he sees Tinubu in the presidential seat, he wishes that he himself were Nigeria’s president.
Adebayo underlined that he has no reason to harbor ill wishes towards the person currently occupying the presidential seat.
Adebayo’s statement highlighted the need for aspiring presidential candidates to draw inspiration from how Senator John McCain defended Barack Obama when faced with similar mudslinging tactics questioning Obama’s nationality, credentials, and eligibility by bitter Republicans.
