This decision effectively allows the FCTA, under the leadership of Nyesom Wike, to have exclusive control over the Territory’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) for the purpose of developing the nation’s capital city.
Nyesom Wike, the Minister of FCT, announced this during a press conference in Abuja on Friday. He also revealed that the President has given the green light for the establishment of the FCT Civil Service Commission to oversee the Territory.
