In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media & Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, the President extended his deepest condolences to Senator Yusuf’s family, friends, and the people of Jigawa State.

Tinubu emphasized Yusuf’s unwavering commitment to the unity and stability of Nigeria and his significant contributions to the country’s socio-economic development.

The President remarked, “Senator Maitama Yusuf was a true patriot who selflessly served the public. His dedication to delivering effective service for the betterment of Nigerians was evident.

He meritoriously held positions as the Minister in the Federal Ministries of Interior and Commerce, followed by his election into the Nigerian Senate by his constituents.”
