During a tour of Amo Farm Sieberer parent stock company’s facilities, the governor emphasized that such a partnership would reinforce their efforts to ensure the availability of animal protein, not only within Oyo State but throughout the entire country.
Makinde praised the management for their innovative approach to advancing agriculture in Oyo State, which aligns with his administration’s agricultural development objectives.
He also commended the company’s Noiler dual-purpose bird initiative, which has contributed to economic growth by supporting over 1.3 million smallholder farmers, primarily rural women in Oyo State.
Governor Makinde expressed the desire to work with Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery to further strengthen their mission of making animal protein accessible, not only in Oyo State but throughout the country.
He also pledged to enhance electricity supply in the area and improve the Akinyele road infrastructure to facilitate agricultural development in the region.
