Residents Of Lagos Estate Startled By The Sudden Appearance Of A Huge Serpent- Watch Viral Video

“Last night, a python of considerable size was found and subsequently killed in Dolphin Estate. Its appearance has caused a significant stir and many residents have expressed concerns, surprise, and unease,” he wrote.

Shedding light on the context surrounding the snake’s discovery, @Realolaudah shared the following details:

1. The residence where the snake was found belongs to a young man who was not home at the time. However, his driver was present, residing in the Boys Quarters (BQ) of the property.
2. Adjacent to this residence, there’s a home with several pet dogs. Over time, the owners had noticed that newborn puppies would mysteriously disappear. For instance, out of a litter of eight puppies, only four might remain after some time.
3. The estate, notably, is adjacent to the SSS Quarters, an area characterized by vast grounds, dense shrubbery, and canals — potential habitats for wildlife, including reptiles like snakes.
4. On the night of the discovery, the python made its way into the BQ through a frail ceiling. Once inside, it poised itself threateningly, ready to strike. The homeowner was immediately informed about the situation. Recognizing the threat, he reached out to an acquaintance from Parkview Estate, a licensed shotgun owner, who promptly arrived and dispatched the snake.
5. Several residents also reported that cats, commonly found in the ceilings of homes in the estate, had been disappearing lately.

Piecing the situation together, it is believed that the python, possibly originating from the SSS quarters area, entered the estate in search of prey, like the missing puppies and cats. Its eventual discovery in Dolphin Estate may not have been its first foray into the area, but it certainly was its last. CONTINUE READING
