Oyo Police Investigate Clerics Accused of Involvement with Human Body Parts

The individuals in question, identified as Taofeeq Kabelohun and Rahmon Muibi, also known as Alubarika, alongside an unnamed third person, were arrested for their involvement in the murder of a man in Ibadan last Thursday.

According to reports, the trio collaborated to lure the victim to accompany them to a location in the Moniya area of Akinyele local government.

However, their suspicious activities, including blood coming from the trunk of their vehicle, led to their apprehension by the police.

A video that has been circulating since Friday depicts the three suspects at the state’s Criminal Investigation Department in Iyaganku, Ibadan, where they were seen displaying the victim’s head and other body parts they allegedly obtained.

Additionally, it was disclosed that Taofeeq Kabelohun held the position of Mufasir (deputy imam) at Orisun Awotan Central Mosque in Awotan, Ido local government area, Ibadan, prior to his arrest.
