Onanuga suggested that Atiku and Obi’s attempt to compel a U.S. court to release certain information about Tinubu has failed.

Taking to X, Onanuga made the following statement: “Aaron Greenspan, the American agent and contractor of Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and David Hundeyin, failed in his bid to rush the Washington D.C. court into ordering the release of President Tinubu’s FBI record. The conspirators have failed once again.”

The U.S. District Court of Columbia rejected a request to compel the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to release information about Tinubu.

Aaron Greenspan had filed an emergency motion, seeking the release of documents, as the Nigerian Supreme Court was set to hear Atiku and Obi’s appeals. Greenspan argued that the Supreme Court’s postponement of the hearing to October 23 was an attempt to undermine his case.

He had requested the release of Tinubu’s documents by October 31, but the court ruled against his request, stating that he had not met the necessary conditions for an emergency hearing motion.
