Nyesom Wike Appoints Dr. Fred Barivure As Special Assistant In FCT

A statement, officially announced by Anthony Ogunleye, the Director of Press, emphasized that Dr. Kpakol’s extensive qualifications and experience make him a valuable addition to the dedicated team of the FCT Administration.

The newly appointed official was born on May 26, 1961, in the Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State and possesses an impressive academic background.

According to the statement from the FCTA, Dr. Kpakol, originally from Rivers State, holds a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Rivers State University of Science and Technology in Port Harcourt.

Dr. Kpakol has previously held significant roles such as serving as the Rivers State Commissioner for Agriculture and Finance.

He has also held positions as the Vice Chairman of the PDP in Rivers South East Senatorial Zone, Executive Chairman of Gokana Local Government, and State Secretary of the Rivers State Chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON).
