With the conclusion of the 2023 election dispute, some Nigerians remain unwilling to accept Tinubu as President.

In a post shared via X on Saturday, Bashir encouraged disappointed supporters of the LP (likely a political party) to refocus their efforts for the 2027 election.

He urged them to build bridges and gather more support across the nation’s six geographical regions.

Bashir, a former aide to President Buhari, suggested that Peter Obi’s silence on the actions of his supporters might imply that neither he nor those attempting to undermine the government have the best interests of the country in mind.

He stated, “Peter Obi should publicly disavow and distance himself from certain supporters who are working against Nigeria and its economy following the Supreme Court’s decision. This is not the appropriate way to express concerns, even if you have any.”
