These cheques were handed over to the beneficiaries at the police command headquarters located in Gwadangaji, Birnin Kebbi.
Wane urged the recipients not to divert the funds from supporting the families left behind by the officers.
He emphasized that this initiative is in line with the Inspector General of Police’s commitment to express condolences to the bereaved families and assist them in addressing their everyday challenges.
Furthermore, the Commissioner of Police offered prayers for the departed officers, hoping for their souls to rest in peace, and for the families to find strength to cope with their loss.
