He clarified that the government has never engaged in communications with stakeholders via social media.

He stated, “The government is not in possession of any hotel bookings of this nature. The government does not use social media as a means of correspondence with stakeholders and has no intentions of doing so.”

Emelumba countered the suggestions of importing individuals from neighboring states to manipulate the election, asserting that Uzodimma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) would emerge victorious in a fair and open competition.

He further noted that the government was cognizant of the opposition’s intentions to inundate the state with troublemakers ahead of the elections. He emphasized that the matter was being addressed in collaboration with relevant security agencies to take the necessary actions.

He urged the Imo electorate to disregard the opposition’s maneuvers and concentrate on reelecting the governor for a well-deserved second term to continue his commendable initiatives.
