Governorship Candidate in the state, would lead the state in a new direction and establish enduring legacies if elected on November 11.

Bello reiterated his conviction that Ododo is resolute in his dedication to furthering and solidifying the remarkable achievements of his administration through the “new direction” agenda.

In a statement issued by his media aide, Onogwu Mohammed, the governor provided this assurance during a meeting with the leadership and members of the Bunnu District Association at the Government House Banquet Hall in Lokoja.

He envisioned that the progress achieved during his tenure would continue under Ododo’s leadership.

Upon victory in the upcoming gubernatorial election on November 11, Ododo is expected to be inaugurated on January 27, 2024, to carry on the “new direction” legacies that would make Kogi residents proud.

Bello stressed the significance of unity among political appointees from Kabba-Bunu, emphasizing its pivotal role in driving development and progress in the Bunnuland region.

He highlighted the need to build upon the achievements in the region and encouraged substantial support for the APC candidate, Ododo, in the November 11 poll.

Governor Bello also assured that the Kogi State University in Kabba had been firmly established in accordance with the wishes of the district’s founders. Funding had been allocated to accelerate the implementation of various projects at the university.
