Ezekwesili made this recommendation during the matriculation ceremony for the 2023/2024 session of the School of Politics, Policy, and Governance (SPPG) in Abuja yesterday.

She pointed out the prevalent political culture in Africa that often prioritizes narrow interests over the common good.

Ezekwesili, the school’s founder, explained that addressing the issues surrounding Nigeria’s political and economic performance motivated the school’s establishment.

She clarified that the school’s mission is to rectify the abnormalities present in the political and democratic arenas.

Furthermore, she criticized the prevailing low-cost leadership in today’s politics, emphasizing the limitations it imposes on achieving meaningful results.
