He firmly believes that well-executed public infrastructure projects, such as roads and bridges, can enhance market connectivity, stimulate production and trade, and create diverse opportunities.

These infrastructure initiatives encompass sectors like water supply, education, healthcare, contributing to an improved quality of life, skill development, and healthcare reinforcement.

They are also essential for addressing immediate healthcare needs, mitigating environmental pollution, and strengthening resilience against climate change and natural disasters.

Governor Adeleke is resolute in rectifying governance inadequacies and fostering an enabling environment for sustainable development, food security, and human capital enhancement in Osun State.

He is committed to avoiding poorly planned projects, cost overruns, and extended construction delays that could impede the well-being of the populace.

In alignment with his vision, on October 27, 2023, the governor unveiled an ambitious plan to invest N100 billion in infrastructure across the state.

This comprehensive endeavor includes the construction of 45 major roads, 345 healthcare facilities, 5 flyover bridges, a potable water supply system, and an extensive street lighting network, among other projects.

Governor Adeleke attributes his administration’s emphasis on infrastructure development to his unwavering dedication to the betterment of Osun.

These projects involve the rehabilitation of critical roads, such as the Otan Ayegbaju-Iresi Road and Ede-Egbedi-Erin Osun Road. Furthermore, the plan encompasses water supply initiatives that span all 332 wards throughout the state.

The administration is also conducting geophysical surveys in various political wards and executing borehole drilling in selected areas within each ward, accompanied by the installation and provision of water storage tanks.
