“I request prayers. Please pray for me,” she conveyed to the Nigerian community in the UK following the proceedings in the courtroom on the fifth floor.
A prominent attorney, Benedict Peters, who traveled from Nigeria to represent his client, shared his opinion after the hearing, suggesting that the case lacks strength and will not hold ground.
Speaking to reporters outside the court, Emeka Ozoani (SAN) argued, “The case is weak, and they, the NCA, have spent five to six years investigating the case, seeking to justify their expenses covered by taxpayers’ money.”
Responding to queries regarding his travel from Nigeria solely for the hearing, he affirmed, “Yes, I came on behalf of my client.”
