This commitment is in recognition of the strong support the citizenry provided to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the recent elections.
Governor Mohammed expressed this determination while in Ningi, where he led a delegation of top government officials to kick off the dualization project of the 11km G. S.S. Ningi-Gudduba Road. He emphasized that this project fulfills promises he made during his re-election campaign.
The completion of this road, according to Governor Mohammed, will not only facilitate trade but also improve access to employment and education, among other benefits.
He pointed out that the Ningi Emirate and the entire Central Zone had been deprived of development under previous administrations, and it was essential to support his efforts in rectifying this situation.
Governor Mohammed also expressed his appreciation for being honored with the title of Turakin Ningi by the Ningi Emirate.
He emphasized that the significance of this road extends beyond Ningi, as it serves as a gateway to Kano and Jigawa states, benefiting the broader region.
Furthermore, Governor Bala Mohammed reiterated his administration’s commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy by addressing transportation challenges faced by both rural and urban farmers and merchants.
The dualization project, valued at over N10 billion and awarded to Mothercat Nigeria Limited, is expected to create direct job opportunities for engineers, laborers, artisans, and indirectly benefit food vendors and suppliers, among others.
