The spokesperson for the Achonu Campaign Organisation, Chibuikem Diala, issued a statement claiming that they have uncovered plans to manipulate the BVAS process.
Protests have reportedly erupted at the Ikenegbu Girls Polling Unit in Owerri municipal council following the deployment of new personnel.
Diala urged security agents and INEC staff to be vigilant and prevent any compromise of the BVAS system during the election.
According to Diala, there are plans to issue incorrect passwords to polling officers, leading to potential malfunctions in BVAS units at specific polling units.
The alleged objective is to generate fake results or disrupt the voting process in areas where riggers lack a strong presence. The campaign organization denounced these alleged plans as shameful and devilish.
