Emphasizing that positive engagement of the youth is crucial for mitigating the high insecurity challenges in Nigeria, she highlighted the company’s dedication to eradicating poverty and contributing to the fight against unemployment.

Speaking during the recent Lagos International Trade Fair at the ‘Dangote Day’ event, Fatima disclosed that Aliko Dangote, the President of the Dangote Group, has consistently aimed to support all levels of government in the country in their efforts to eradicate poverty.

She stressed that the most effective way for the Dangote Group to achieve this goal is by actively contributing to the elimination of youth unemployment.

Fatima noted that Dangote Group is the largest employer of labor in Nigeria, after the federal government, and emphasized the Group’s priority of creating more employment opportunities for Nigerian youths, enabling them to become providers for their families.

“The desire of our President, Aliko Dangote, is to ensure that Nigerian youths are gainfully employed because, only then, can they contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the country.

By positively engaging the youth, we believe that the security challenges facing the nation will diminish,” she remarked.

Aliko-Dangote underscored the Group’s passion for contributing to the deepening of the Nigerian economy through industrialization, job creation, infrastructure development, and citizen welfare.

She highlighted the strategic partnerships with major Chambers of Commerce nationwide, emphasizing the Group’s investment decisions aimed at creating value for all stakeholders.

She also pointed out that Dangote Cement Plc remains the leading cement producer on the continent, with operations spanning 10 African countries.
