Expressing gratitude to the people for electing him and Deputy Governor Sam Ode, Governor Alia assured that his administration would reclaim all that the state lost in the past eight years.
Despite challenges, he highlighted ongoing renovation work on the previously abandoned House of Assembly complex, nearing completion.
Governor Ália urged Benue residents to prioritize security by being vigilant and reporting unfamiliar faces to authorities for necessary action, emphasizing the role of citizens in maintaining peace.
Furthermore, he informed stakeholders that his administration, in collaboration with the people, plans to appoint credible individuals, including youths and women, to form caretaker committees at the third tier of government. Governor Alia assured strict adherence to zoning principles in the selection process.
