In an interview with a group of journalists in Abeokuta, he highlighted the ISEYA pillars, encompassing Infrastructure, Security, and Social Welfare, Education, Youth Empowerment and Job Creation, and Agriculture.
Abiodun emphasized the commitment to infrastructure development, particularly the construction of over 400 kilometers of highways, strategically connecting Ogun State with neighboring states, especially Lagos.
He noted the significant reduction in travel time between Lagos and Ogun, from several hours to less than one hour, fostering increased accessibility and attracting more people to the state.
When asked about his greatest achievement as the governor, Abiodun pointed to Ogun State’s transformation into a preferred investment destination in Nigeria.
He attributed this success to the strategic utilization of the state’s geographical proximity as the exclusive neighbor to Lagos, showcasing the creative policies implemented under his leadership.
