“So today, I decided to cut my hair. All this while, my hair has been bushy. Today, I said, let me go and get a haircut. I decided to go to one of the barbershops nearby. “I agreed. Okay, book the appointment, let’s see. The guy checked through their schedule, and the only free slot was at three pm. I had no choice but to agree to the three pm appointment.” CONTINUE READING
“One thing about Canada is that they cut hair separately from the beard. Yes, so for my hair, it’s thirty dollars, and for the beard, it’s twenty-five dollars, making it a total of fifty-five dollars. I decided to only cut the hair and leave the mustache because I would do that myself when I get home. It wasn’t that that pained me. From when I arrived at the shop after ten, I realized it would take time until three pm. I thought, let me quickly go home. I was at home, and when I checked, it was already three pm. I rushed back, and when I arrived, it was fifteen minutes after three.”
In the video, the man conveyed his frustration with the process and scheduling, highlighting the differences in the approach to hair and beard grooming in Canada compared to his previous experiences in Nigeria.
