The controversial inclusion of Portable as a guest artiste had sparked online debates when initially announced on a church flyer two weeks prior. Despite the subsequent retraction by the church, stating that Portable would no longer be performing, the artiste stood firm on his commitment to entertain the congregation during the event.
True to his word, Portable made a grand entrance at the venue on Friday, captivating the audience with his electrifying performance. The event also featured the presence of Fuji singer Pasuma.
Addressing the congregation just before Portable’s performance, the church’s pastor acknowledged the draw Portable’s name had for attendees, acknowledging that his inclusion played a role in attracting a diverse audience to the program.
