This development follows a mediation meeting held at the Aso Villa in Abuja on Monday, facilitated by President Bola Tinubu, where a truce was reached between the conflicting parties.
According to reports from TVC, the lawmakers conveyed their decision to withdraw the impeachment notice in an official notice read on the house floor. They cited their respect for the President as the primary motivation behind this reversal.

Throughout the feud, a series of noteworthy events unfolded, including the emergence of parallel legislative sittings, the revelation of an impeachment plot against the governor, the demolition of the Assembly complex, and a wave of resignations within the cabinet of pro-Wike commissioners in Fubara’s administration.
