Ezoic Reflecting on the aftermath of the civil war, Chief Ogbonnaya underscored that, for the first time, tangible efforts are being made to address the human suffering and degradation endured by the South East. He credited Chief Ben Kalu and his courageous colleagues for championing this cause.

The PDP chieftain expressed disappointment with the lack of progress in implementing General Yakubu Gowon’s 3R policy, particularly in terms of infrastructure, especially roads, in the South East.Ezoic Chief Ogbonnaya emphasized the South East Development Commission Bill as a unique opportunity for the Federal Government of Nigeria to rectify past injustices.
