In a recent statement, Engr. Abdulhafis Toriola, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, clarified that the government has no affiliation with the mentioned developer. The official statement, posted on Thursday via a social media platform, emphasized that Mrs. Ngozi Elizabeth Ola-David, also known as Ngozi Elizabeth Phil-Ebosie, the Managing Director of House Height Limited, is not an authorized agent or representative of the Lagos State Government in any capacity.
Toriola dismissed claims of her being an appointed agent as baseless and cautioned that individuals engaging with the firm or its agents do so at their own risk. He specifically warned potential homebuyers, especially those residing abroad, against participating in transactions with House Height Limited or its agents concerning Harmony Court along Command Road, Ipaja, Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA.
Highlighting the termination of the government’s partnership with House Height Limited due to non-performance, Toriola urged the public to disregard any claims of property ownership made by the developer. Supporting Toriola’s message, Mrs. Bukade Idowu-Koya, the Director of Legal Services at the Lagos State Ministry of Housing, advised interested parties to use official channels.
For secure and legitimate transactions, potential buyers are instructed to contact the office of the Permanent Secretary at Block 3, Second Floor, Secretariat, Alausa-Ikeja, as directed by Idowu-Koya. This cautionary note underscores the government’s commitment to safeguarding citizens from potential scams and fraudulent activities in the real estate sector.
